Feeling good!
Been awhile! How have you been? Enjoying the weather in Canada? The politics in the US? The heat down under? The global warming everywhere? Hope so :)
I just finished my first week at TeleTech - 1st of 3 classroom training weeks before 2 weeks of practice runs with real people. And you know what, unlike 2003, when I was being trained there, this time is a whole lot better. I like it. It is fun. It is sinking in! My position will be less about "everything calls" and more about "order support calls". It will be more focused. I will be more focused.
Let's go back to 2003/2004 - I had just separated, had 2 boys (4 and 6), and my head was just not into this call centre pressure. Six years have passed, my boys are 10 and 12, and my attitude is so much different than back then. It sure makes a difference when you feel good about life, because it makes it easier to grasp life. At my age this is crucial for my ego indeed.
