Maturity Majority
Mid-February and Valentine's Day are soon upon us. I hope you enjoy a loving time with your friends and family and partners, mates or girlfriends/boyfriends (whoever you share love with).
TeleTech is going steady with two weeks of a 5 week training stretch almost done. One more week of in-class work then it is on the phones to get the system down in what is called A-Bay (training bay with lots of coaching?).
I've noticed one very important element in the "group" dynamics. One word - RESPECT! The ages of the 18 people is maybe 19 to 52 (me). I have a feeling I am the oldest one there (even older then the instructors). But despite the cultural differences, age differences, marital status differences, stages in life, and even lifestyles, we all respect each other. The young and old all help, support and treat each other as equals. We are all at the same level as far as training goes and we will be all at the same level on the floor. I appreciate it so much!
Have you had any experience where status meant everything and you felt like the outsider? Ever feel like a newbie no matter how experienced you were? Ever feel like you were outside of the clique. Well remember we are all human - we all demand some form of respect and some kind of acknowledgement or validation. If we give respect we will gain it. Everydody wins!
I receive a lot of inspirational videos from Mary Robinson Reynolds. Here is one for you http://www.YouAreLoveMovie.com . Know that you are love this time of the year.
Happy 'Love' Day
Paul
