Paul Tingley - a personal look

Hello! Happy Valentine's Day!


Thank you for visiting my personal blog and for wanting to learn a little bit about me. I live in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia, Canada's ocean playground. I have been here all of my life and the smell and sound of the ocean is the pure definition of peace. People know me as Paul, and in fact a neighbour has been known to call me Gick, a term of endearment I hope. I like to be a good neighbour and keep our blissful community intact.

I am a single father of two great boys, David (Davy) and Isaac (I call him 'Bones'). Both love to sing, and play on the shoreline. We have a cat we have tamed and named Whiskers. I enjoy many things, but at the top of my list: Driving! It is my passion. I have had the opportunity to drive tour buses and show tourists our beautiful province. I love to fly fish and soak up the sun during a daily walk.

For my last vacation, I and my boys visited Cape Breton Island (Cabot Trail). PEI, and short day trips on the south shore give us total satisfaction.

Goals and ambitions are motivating and important in a person's life. One of my goals is to make an income online and drive a new BMW M3 (thinking rich emerald blue). I want to see Europe and Asia. Thailand is my main planned destination.

I've been fortunate to accomplish many things in my life. But my biggest accomplishment is having held down a computer operations position at Dalhousie University for almost 20 years prior to breaking out to programming and driving. 

I'm having the time of my life right now by living my dream of owning my own business. Working on my own as given me the chance to see my boys more often, watch them grow and accomplish great things in school and life. The freedom to do as I please when I please is awesome! Try it! I hope that gives you some insight into who I am.
