Hopefully
With another year, comes another chance. We all make our resolutions, our big plans, and then for some strange reason not always follow through. Why is that? Is it because we are caught in the excitement of a new year at first then settle back into the 'known' after it gets rolling? Well I'll let you answer that one.
What are your hopes, your dreams, your plans? As you focus or ReFocus on them remember that this year is your year. Set a mini-goal - reach it and do it again.. if you did that once a month you would achieve 12 goals this year. (If it is losing 5 pounds - you'll lose 60 by December; or saving $100 a month- that's $1200 by December)
I plan on doing that - first I want an income - then I'm taking that income and pumping it into my debts. When thats done, time for a vacation.. winter will be over by then. Then of course back to driving tours in Nova Scotia - my summer semi-retirement job. But I have learned a hard lesson - winter is long when money is short - so I'm planning ahead for a better winter next year.
So do yourself a favor - ReFocus work @home even - but reach a pile of little goals and smile.
Take care this year.
Paul
